I spent a little time chatting with Carlos about his journey from Germany to Canada with his family. He is the baby in the piece. He gave me some photos and documents and an idea of the colour palette he wanted. I asked him for important dates and places and I went from there. I love creating commissions of people's stories. He LOVED it! I was thrilled.
